“I'm a Vegas headliner!” Hilton told reporters on the red carpet. “What a magical night! My opening in Chippendales was a dream come true! I love this city! I love this show! I love the energy that the audience brings! Everyone is here to have THE BEST TIME and we work very hard to ensure that! I am so happy on stage and especially when surrounded by such talented and gorgeous men!”
The opening night audience included his mom, Teresita Lavandeira. “I am so happy my mom was there to cheer me on! She’s my biggest supporter!” said Perez.
During the evening, Hilton recounted the story of his “make out session” with John Mayer and, explained he wants to make peace with Lady Gaga (the duo had a falling out and feud).
“If I could invite any other Vegas headliner to come see the show, I would like to invite Lady Gaga,” said Hilton. “She and I had our issues in the past but they are in the past…this is my olive branch to Lady Gaga.”
In addition to his ongoing gossip site, PerezHilton.com, Hilton has previously appeared onstage in NEWSical: The Musical (off-Broadway) and Full House The Musical (New York and Toronto). On television, he's been seen as an actor in Glee, Girl Meets World, Victorious, Law & Order: SVU and countless other shows.
