Boxer Adrien Broner States "Going At It Is Gay," Also Has Thoughts On Mexicans

As of his post-fight interview last night after a match, people seem to have more of a problem with Adrien "The Problem" Broner than they normally do. The outspoken boxer's shtick involves telling it like it is (for his fake name isn't "The Problem") but even though boxing fans are used to Broner's antics, he done and did it by giving his unfiltered thoughts on Mexicans attending his match as well as by using the word "gay" to reference something negative. So 1995.

Broner was disappointed that his Sunday night fight with Jessie Vargas was called as a draw, and even though his fists were down after the fight, he weaponized words with:

Look at his face. It look like I beat him with what they beat Martin Luther King with. We ain't go at it. Going at it is gay.

Oh I forgot, he mentions Martin Luther King. He adds his thoughts on the cultural tapestry of Mexican heritage:

It’s hella Mexicans and shit in here. Everybody keep booing me and shit. They want rice and chicken. I want some motherfuckers that want some Coney’s around me.

It should be noted that Vargas is Mexican. Broner's comments have divided Twitter, with some understandably claiming that his words don't belong in the year 2018, and others noting that this is simply The Problem staying on-brand and cracking wise. Do you think Broner needs to find a new job as a standup comedian, or should he not be excused from his derogatory comments? Let us know.

Someone should beat him with what they beat the late, great MLK with. Add some spiked ball chains whilw we're at it. He's all that the black community nor any community should have as a role model for children. His number of concussions are higher than his IQ.

"We ain't go at it."

That says all you need to know about his intelligence.
